City of Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (IATA: COS, ICAO: KCOS, FAA LID: COS), known as Colorado Springs Airport, is a city-owned public civil-military airport 6 miles (9. 7 km) southeast of downtown Colorado Springs, in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the second busiest commercial service airport in the state after Denver International Airport. Peterson Air Force Base, which is located on the north side of runway 13/31, is a tenant of the airport.
