The public transportation agency serving the metropolitan Anchorage. This is municipality owned and operates within its boundaries. It includes servicing suburbs of Anchorage like Birchwood and eagle River. It has a daily service to the major roads in the cities of the Anchorage municipality. Most routes ending in Downtown Transit Center in Anchorage. Weekday operations start early from 6am or 7am until closing at 9pm or 10pm. Operation begins an hour later on Saturdays and ends earlier at 7pm or 8pm. While Sunday services are more limited with late opening at 10am or 11am with early closing at 5pm or 6pm only.
